Tropics Indoor Waterpark
Attention: The pool and Tropics Indoor Waterpark will be CLOSED for the weekend. We anticipate that will re-open mid-week next week. Lap lanes are available at Chippewa Middle School.
Come experience our tike size paradise at Shipwreck Beach. Go down our shipwreck boat slide. Play with our interactive splashing palm tree, or challenge yourself across our sea animal water walk. In our main pool play water volleyball or slam-dunk the basketball in the palm tree hoop. Climb aboard one of our giant floating sea creatures that you could see while snorkeling in tropical waters. Adults can escape from the bustle of the waterpark and relax at our 18 plus whirlpool and patio. Come enjoy our large whirlpool and let the stress melt away.
Lights and Music!
All can enjoy the thrills of the metro's most exciting waterslide, Shark Attack! New, riders will be able to experience our one of a kind jukebox system. You can choose from over 100 songs. As you take the ride of your life you will experience your own light show as you dance to your favorite music. Riders have given it 9.5 out of 10 stars.

Shoreview Community Center, Tropics Indoor Waterpark lifeguard staff was awarded the prestigious "Silver International Aquatic Safety Award" by Jeff Ellis & Associates International Aquatic Safety & Risk Management Consultants. This award is for consistently "exceeding" Ellis & Associates criteria for aquatic safety. Only clients scoring in the top 30 percent of their audit criteria receive this award. Currently, there are around 480 Ellis and Associate clients worldwide with 1,200 facilities.
"It is apparent that the entire staff embodies the idea of setting the standard in aquatic safety and swimmers who frequent this aquatic facility are afforded the highest degree of swimmer protection currently available for the aquatic industry," said Richard A. Filtration System
Come experience our crystal clear water with our Sphagnum Moss filtration technique. This green system has allowed for a reduction in chlorine used. It makes for a more natural swimming experience as the Sphagnum Moss treated water is better on your skin, hair, swim suit, and best of all your eyes.

Dive-In Movie Night!
Friday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m.
Join your friends and family at the Tropics Indoor Waterpark inside the Shoreview Community Center for Dive-In Movie night! Guests can float with the aid of water noodles (not provided), relax on the giant sea creature floatables, or lounge on the poolside chairs while and enjoy a popular family friendly movie. No need to register. The purchase of a daily pass on the day of the movie is your ticket. Free for Community Center Members. Please note that the hot tub will be closed during and after the movie. Movie titles will be posted at the Community Center or call 651-490-4750 for more information.
Certified lifeguard on duty in the pool at all times.
For our guests' safety, our lifeguards participate in ongoing training. Part of this training includes the use of life-like mannequins as a simulation device.
Pool is open for general use during most hours that the Community Center is open. However, classes may be in session or pool amenities may be unavailable.
Boys 4 year old and under, may be in the women's locker room with a female guardian. Girls 4 years old and under, may be in the men's locker room with a male guardian. Please use the family locker rooms.

Pool Policies
Nothing can replace close adult supervision when using the pool. All children six years and under must be supervised by a paid adult swimmer. Supervisory adult must be within arms reach of that child at all times.
